I never knew

Just a while ago Kirk was talking to my Mary Kay Lady and it turns out that they probably knew each other back in the day. Her brother is married to one of my best friends and one of Mike's best friends was a good friend of Kirk's. Anyway, one thing led to another and Kirk told us that he played drums one night behind Charlie Pride. I knew that he played for/with Johnny Bush and a couple of other renowned Texas singers, but I don't recall ever knowing about Charlie Pride. Wow!!! Who'd a thunk it!!!!! We all have our 15 minutes of fame along the way. Just a little Kirk trivia--what a life he's lead.
