Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat!

Boy, Handel sure knew what he was doing when he wrote the "Hallujah Chorus." I sang it all the way home this afternoon because I am out for 10 days. I got all of my grades in the computer so all I have to do when I get back is verify them. Yippeeee!!!! I am ready to hang out with my retired husband and wrap presents. We can do that together, now. I have someone to put his finger on the ribbon for me to tie it. The family gave me a great 60th birthday last Wednesday. Jessica and Gwen took me to a day spa and I got pampered from head to foot--really. It was fabulous, then we all went to dinner at Paesano's. Linell and Emilie joined us and we had a great time. Larry has been in the throes of filming Garland play-off games, but he called me while we were dining. Landon's birth date is coming up really fast as is sweet Tracy's wedding. Lots of great things happening at the beginning of our new year. I love it, life is good!!! Rob and Gwen gave me a flash drive for my birthday, so I must have a crash course in how to use one. I wanted it so I could put the entire family cookbook on it. I collected recipes from Mama that were hers and Bigmama's and decided to write a memoir type cookbook about our family. I need to call my Aunt Fay and talk to her about a couple of the recipes to make sure that I have them written down correctly. Well, I will try to get back and blog between wrapping, baking, knitting, sleeping, and drinking wine. Toodles:)
