What a party!!!

Kirk and I hosted(along with Meemaw and Nana) a couples' shower for Joshua and Tracy last night. I think a good time was had by all--I hope so anyway. It was the coldest night of the year, naturally, but we managed. Jessica brought Emilie's fire pit over and Kirk moved the chiminia (sp)over to the patio and it was really quite pleasant out there. I had a stack of throws for anyone who wanted to stay outside, but the fires kept it pretty warm out there. It was so much fun having everyone to our house. I saw some of Meemaw's family, whom I had not seen in a very long time. Jessica, Cheri, and Larry spent the day helping me get everything ready. It is always fun when my kids are around for events like this. Cheri dipped the strawberries while Jessica snapped beans. Jessica is such a food organizer, which comes from being in the food business, I guess. Anyway, their help was GREATLY appreciated. Now, we will be looking forward to the wedding in April. I have been very lazy all day today hostessing makes me that way!!!!! Now I am going to go watch "Bleak House" on PBS. Good night all!!!!!!
