Easter Blessings

Jessica blessed the family and hosted the Easter gathering this year. She is such a great hostess. The food was delicious as always and there was more than anyone family can consume, as always. The Easter Bunny (Poppie) hid the eggs for Cam-Cam to hunt. She got right in the middle and hunted with great finesse and found them all (with the assistance of Poppie). She had spent the weekend with her grandparents and great-grandparents in Abiline, and she came back to SA looking for cows!!!!! She loved being out with the cows. I see a future animal lover coming up, she is her Mother's daughter and Auntie Jessica's favorite niece. They both are animal lovers who would bring home every stray they happened upon.
Nana, Meemaw, Aunt Nell and Uncle Ralph also shared the day with us. They are in the throes of Joshua's wedding next weekend. We are looking forward to being in Sugarland and witnessing that sweet boy's "I do" to his Tracy. The logistics of getting everyone there has been somewhat complicated, but alas, we have it figured out and are ready for our adventure.
Easter Sunday at church humbled me to tears. I am so very lucky and blessed. I truly wished that everyone was as blessed as I am. I have a so much in my life and I know that not everybody is as blessed. God has smiled on me with my children. I love them immeasurably. Camaryn is the light of Dandy and Poppie's life. I see the magic in everything once again, even in the thought of seeing cows in Auntie Jessica's backyard or watching soap bubbles float into the air. I have an idea about those soap bubbles--from now on I am going to put my worries on those bubbles and just blow them away. WHAT AN IDEA!!!!! I think I've got something there!!! Next weekend will be a celebration of Joshua and Tracy, and I plan to dance all weekend long. The following weekend we will be in Dallas helping Larry and Cheri unpack in their new house. Can hardly wait to do that. May looks like another adventure for me. I will be flying to Kansas to see my niece graduate from art school. What is even more incredible is that my brothers will be there, too. We have not been together for five years. Mama is especially excited because it is also Mother's Day and we have not all been together to celebrate her day for way too many years. Jessica told me the other day that she has made arrangements to be there, too. What a great Mother's Day present to me. When I get back, I will only have a couple more weeks of school left in the year. YIPPEEE!!!!! Speaking of school, I've gotta go and get ready for Monday of TAKS week. Ya'll gave a good week and I'll see most of you at Joshua's and Tracy's wedding.
