A Pipes Fourth

We enjoyed a calm fourth at Linell and Ralph's. It was a small party where we could really visit with each other. We swam, drank wine and beer, ate some amazing food, and generally relaxed. Small, intimate gatherings always seem better than big ones. I had a chance to think about the country that we live in and appreciate the freedoms we have. No wonder America is considered the "land of opportunity." Even, with our economy the way it is--we are lucky to live in a great country. I am back on the protein and fresh veggies--I fell off the wagon for a while and I am now paying for it. My stomach is bloated, and I feel lithargic, so I am back to eating healthy. Hope that all had a great Fourth of July. More later.
